Tools Similar to Sproxel.

Before I started writing Sproxel, I was made aware of a tool named Cube Kingdom.  It seems like it's pretty cool!  Is anyone aware of other sprite-voxel editors out there on the web?

I like the menus and the general feel of the Cube Kingdom.  At the moment, Sproxel feels a lot more technical.  This may be a good thing or may not.  I'll get a better feel for things as time goes on...

  1. Just found about the Quibicle Constructor today, when doing my search:

  2. Wow. Good find! That tool has a lot of features. I will definitely take inspiration from a lot of the developers' ideas.

Also, be sure to check out David's list of voxel editors on his Thermite voxel engine page. It's got a bunch of good ones.

  3. The two best voxel editors I know are Paint3D (Windows) and Voxel (iPhone/iPad). Be sure to check them out for inspiration, and keep up the good work.

  4. Thanks for the pointers! Paint3D is a good one, I agree. I hadn't heard of Voxel on the iPhone/Pad before, so I'm excited to check that one out.

Thanks, too, for the words of encouragement!
